The Company

Established in 1976, International Lift Equipment has experienced continual growth to become the largest supplier of components, controllers, lift cars and lift packages in the UK. This success has been achieved by the dedication of a skilled workforce led by a senior management team (some with over thirty years experience) intent on building a company of considerable repute.

International Lift Equipment is committed to a continuing policy of investment and expansion in all areas of its business - to maintain and develop its pole position within the Lift Industry, to achieve increasing profitability and security, and to augment a national and world wide service dedicated to the provision of high quality lift components and packages in response to the needs of its clients.

Comprehensive range

As the leading supplier in it's field, ILE's product range is, understandably, as comprehensive as it is reliable. Nevertheless this product range is under constant expansion and review, as ILE continue to remain at the forefront of lift engineering technology. The range of components includes G.A.L. and Selcom door equipment, winding units, micro processors, control panels, guide rail & shoes, governors, safety gears and associated equipment, not to mention lift cars and complete lift packages including the International 8 package.

In 1991, after initiating an extensive Quality Management System, ILE was proud to achieve ISO 9001 BS5750 Part 1 registration for the design, manufacture and supply of components to the lift and allied industries. Processes and procedures are now in operation and are included in our comprehensive quality control department also supervises all products held in stock to endure the constant supply of only the highest quality components and if they cannot source products to meet those requirements, instigate in house design and manufacture. In this way ILE is able to maintain its reliable and constantly high standards.

 

Responsive Service

International Lift Equipment prides itself on a pre and after sales service that is second to none, achieved by providing a technical sales team with and in-depth knowledge of the industry. They undertake to carry out surveys on any specific installation and provide specifications for inclusion with possible tender requirements. In addition they offer engineering advice, drawing and design facilities and are able to advise on any type of all type of lift installation or refurbishment to suit individual requirements. On top of all this, on site back-up, plant hire, full product training and trade counter facilities are provided.

Broad Client base

Based in both London and Leicester, ILE is ideally situated to serve its nation-wide client base which includes lift companies, lift consultants, local authorities and major housing groups. With a newly formed export team undertaking research into foreign markets, it is also rapidly expanding its operations worldwide, including U.S.A., Belgium, Holland, Ireland,Cambodia, Hong Kong and South Africa.
